In the THWS buddy program, the peer-to-peer team (p2p team) arranges groups of international and local students who support each other as they start their studies.
What is the Come Together EveryBuddy Program?
The buddy program at the Technical University of Würzburg-Schweinfurt promotes exchange between local and international students. It enables students to make new friends, find their way around everyday student life and develop social and intercultural skills. At the same time, language skills are improved.
The program is designed for the long term and makes it easier for international students to make contact with German fellow students. Participation in the buddy program is confirmed by a certificate from the THWS.
What you should bring
- Openness to new friends and other cultures
- Interest in intercultural exchange
- Willingness to invest time in your buddy group
- Support for new students with important topics at the start of their studies (e.g. exam registration, access to the e-learning portal, library, student ID)
The p2p team establishes contact between the buddy participants and is available as a contact person at any time.
