The practical orientation and future-oriented focus.
What was the best decision in your professional career and why? What has changed since then?
Joining the Mercedes-Benz global brand, staying there and filling people with enthusiasm for the "star", with passion and dedication.
What do you think has shaped FHWS the most over the last 50 years?
Personal contact between teaching staff and students. I would like to take this opportunity to thank FHWS for the fantastic support in my sporting career, particularly in the Olympic year of 1992 by moving an exam which allowed me to participate and win gold in fencing.
What is your vision of the future for FHWS? What might FHWS look like in 50 years’ time?
A large and varied range of degrees, focuses on robotics and AI, green degrees such as hydrogen technology, focused on practice and the current circumstances, support for research, which results in new knowledge.
What is your insider tip for the cities of Würzburg or Schweinfurt and why?
Mozart Festival, Africa Festival, diverse nightlife, Weinfest am Stein wine festival, Würzburg Residence, Museum für Franken at the Marienburg Fortress, Würzburg Cathedral, Franconian cuisine at "Backöfele" or the Beef800 steak restaurant with a view of the Main and the Fortress.
