New partnership to strengthen AI know-how within companies

CAIRO is pleased to announce its participation in the AI Transfer Plus programme aimed at building internal AI competences within SMEs leading to successful and long-term AI applications. Together with the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Systems (FIW), CAIRO will support the programme through the KI-Regionalzentrum Würzburg (short: KIRZ) which shall serve as the local point of contact and expertise.

Through a 9-months hands-on curriculum the participating companies shall build internal technical know-how for the development of AI applications and implement their own AI use case. The company project teams will be supported by experienced AI experts paying particular attention to knowledge transfer. The aim is to ensure that companies are able to independently operate and further develop the innovative AI applications in the long term even after the program has been completed. In addition to the development of the appropriate technical AI infrastructure, the AI Transfer Plus also supports the participants in the development of a long-term AI vision and the organizational and procedural anchoring of AI activities in the company.
