THWS Symposium on Modelling of Dielectrics

The Symposium addresses all researchers working on the mathematical description, modelling and simulation of dielectric materials (solid, liquid, or gas), and their behaviour under electrical stress, at any level of theory.

We welcome all contributions related to atomistic, micro-, and macroscopic modelling concerning the dielectric behaviour of insulating materials.

Goals of the symposium:

  • Sharing experiences and knowledge with others about theoretical activities
  • Discussing approaches and problems
  • Scientific networking

You can contribute by giving a 30-minute talk or presenting a poster and discussions.

A submission in advance is not necessary.

The 2-day Symposium will take place at the Technical University of Applied Science Würzburg Schweinfurt (THWS) at the campus Schweinfurt.

On the evening of the first day of the symposium, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a wine tasting featuring the famous Franconian wines.
