Student Life

Student life is not only about lectures, seminars, learning and exams. It is also about playing an active role within one's university, and about the life in a study location, leisure time activities, and contact points for all kinds of different interests or questions.

At both study locations, a good opportunity to help shap life at THWS is working with the Student Representation of the faculties or across faculties. If you are looking for like-minded people, you may find them in many different student organisations or at the Hochschulsport, a kind of university sports club offering many different sports. In addition, at both study locations you will find quite a range of sports and night-time activities balancing your studies. For first orientation, there is not only web pages with information on studying in Würzburg, but also an interactive map by the City of Würzburg. The cultural and leisure programme in Schweinfurt also contributes to a varied and interesting time of studies.

If there are any questions on the issues of accomodation, canteens/cafeterias, or financing the Studentenwerk Würzburg is always a good starting point at both study locations. Studentenwerk Würzburg also offers counsel to students in problematic personal situations or difficult conditions.
