Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions as well as a quick overview of our projects and offers.
What is Student Health Management?
Student Health Management is a THWS project. It supports students at an early stage by providing low-threshold advice on health issues (mental, physical and social health) and finding the right services.
What exactly do we do?
- Solution-oriented short-term advice for students based on a holistic view of health (physical, mental and social)
- Referral to internal contact points at the university and regional institutions
- Implementation of health-related events and group activities
- Networking within the university (for example with the student advisory services)
- Participatory and goal-oriented adaptation of the offer to the needs of the students
- Quality assurance through process-accompanying evaluation
What are our goals?
- Less stress for students through direct contact partners and needs-based placement
- Increased awareness and confidence among teaching staff and student advisors
- Fewer health-related study problems through resource-oriented prevention
