Cooperation

Research activities at THWS are an essential factor for the transfer of knowledge and technology into practice, especially in to the proximate region, but also on a national and an international level. Thanks to its work close to practice, THWS is able to tackle urgent issues of the economy and our society with problem-solving approaches in a goal- and success-oriented way. Companies, institutes and associations, as well as the students who can thus work with the latest developments in technology and science, all benefit from this.

Therefore, THWS is not only involved in practical, co-operative projects with regional partners, but also in national and international research projects. These co-operations promote THWS partners, professors and students alike, and thus support the goal of education close to practice at our institution through interesting projects, which provide co-operation partners access latest results of applied science along with a technological and locational advantage for the region.

Besides the activities of individual professors conducting research within their faculties, research activities at THWS are supported by six institutes and through numerous laboratories.
