Modular studies at THWS to bridge qualification and phases of life

You can realise your dear project within the frame of structured modular studies. Unique in Germany!

With its tailor-made teaching offers, this modular studies programme supports you in implementing a project you are passionate about. You attend seminars on topics like personal development, project management, new work, communication, and business modelling. You can attain up to 30 ECTS credits. After their realisation, projects with entrepreneurial potential can be supported continuously through THWS' entrepreneurship and founder programmes.

Supporting you and your idea

Lectures and workshops

We offer various lectures, among others focusing on personal development, project management, creativity, new work, communication, and business modelling, which you can use to drive your future idea. You will attain ECTS credits for successful completion of the modules that can later be accredited for subsequent bachelor's or master's studies (according to the study regulations). The lectures are given in German!

Advice and network

The team of the Campus for Applied Research will support you during your studes. You will also gain access to the large innovation network of the region of Main Franconia.

Access to the higher education institution

Your participation in the modular studies will provide you with the status of a regular student, access to the many offers of the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt, where you can make use of the infrastructure, for example the work and creative spaces of our "Innovations- und Gründungsgarage", or the library.

For in-person seminars, workshops and creative spaces, the "Innovations- und Gründungsgarage" (pavilion room number Z.P.2.2, diagonally opposite the main building) is you address.

Directions:

THWS is best reached by public transport. From the main station, please take tram line 4 towards Sanderau, or line 5 towards Rottenbauer and get off at station "Sanderring". From there, it is only a few metres to the main building on Münzstraße 12.
