International Office

Internationalisation is one of the most important topics at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS). THWS has been welcoming international students from over 80 countries for more than 30 years, and we are in contact with more than 170 partner universities worldwide.

Supporting international students is a matter of great importance to us. This begins even before they start their studies at THWS – we offer orientation weeks before the start of the semester so that students can find their way around the university and in Germany. But also during the semester, there are offers for intercultural trainings, events and field trips.

On its webpages, the International Office provides information about the various study abroad options for THWS students as well as the opportunities for international students to study at THWS. For example, you can complete your entire studies at THWS in German or English or spend one or two semesters as an exchange student abroad.
